Bleach 558 "THE HEART OF THE WOLF" Summary:

 

 

Looking at 7th Division Captain Sajin Komamura's heart in a bowl in front of him, his great-grandfather recalls Komamura as a boy and states he is proud of Komamura for having acted like a real member of their clan. Meanwhile, Bambietta Basterbine expresses disbelief at her bombs exploding before they are pushed back into her body as she is engulfed by a large explosion. As the heavily burned Bambietta falls from the sky and crashes into a building, Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō lands before falling to its knees and breaking apart behind Komamura.

Seeing fur appear on his arm, Komamura pants heavily and asks his Humanification technique to last for a little longer until he can reach the Wandenreich's castle. Proclaiming he must defeat Yhwach, Komamura attempts to move forward as his great-grandfather says Komamura is feeling a thirst for revenge. Noting Komamura told Kaname Tōsen that revenge is simply the useless sacrifice of one's life, Komamura's great-grandfather states this is fine and says revenge is what their clan is made for. As Komamura falls to his knees, fur continues to grow on him as his great-grandfather notes he returned to his original form.

As his great-grandfather states he came back to his clan, Komamura's hand and ears return to their original form as Komamura realizes what is happening. As Komamura's clothing rips apart, his great-grandfather says Komamura's life as a human will come to an end before stating Komamura will become a beast seeking revenge. Saying Komamura can think about revenge until then, his great-grandfather states he still lives relishing this black resentment and thanks Komamura for doing this to him before collapsing.

As his sword clatters to the ground, Komamura lies on the ground in a wolf body and wonders if this is the price for selling his soul to revenge. Appearing next to him, 7th Division Lieutenant Tetsuzaemon Iba hoists Komamura onto his shoulders and says they will beat Yhwach together for Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto. Elsewhere, a badly burned Bambietta wonders how she could have been beaten by a Shinigami and proclaims she cannot forgive this. As Candice Catnipp, Giselle Gewelle, Liltotto Lamperd, and Meninas McAllon appear around her, Giselle states they will help her, prompting Bambietta to beg her to not do so.

Meanwhile, as 6th Division Lieutenant Renji Abarai and 13th Division Lieutenant Rukia Kuchiki fall from the sky, Rukia notes it will be night soon and tells Renji they must hurry.

Bleach 559 Spoiler Trivia: Sajin Komamura Shikai command has yet to be used in the actual series. It has only been mentioned in Databooks and video games.
