Youko x Boku SS Creator Cocoa Fujiwara Passes Away at 31

According to the news of Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine, the Youko x Boku SS manga creator Cocoa Fujiware passed away on March 31 at the age of 31. A funeral ceremony will be held for her family and close relatives.

Fujiwara created a short story titled "Calling" in 1999. Later, she launched her manga series Youko x Boku SS in Gangan Joker from 2009 to 2014. The anime adaptation began airing in Japan in 2012.

Fujiware serialized Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai Shite Ita manga in Gangan Joker in 2013. The final chapter will be published in the April issue on March 20. The magzine and its website will detail the anthology of the final chapters and other details when they made the decision.
