“Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo” Manga to Get OAD Adaptation

As the first anime promotional video for Miki Yoshikawa's Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo manga reached a milestone of over 1-million views on Thursday, the second PV is released with the news that an anime project is launching. The official website for the project announces that the manga is getting an original anime DVD. It will be directed by Tomoki Takuno at LIDEN FILMS with character designs by Eriko Iida on.

And the twitter of the project announces that the cast will be leaded by Ryota Ohsaka and Saori Hayami. Further details will be available on this year’s 33rd issue of Weekly Shounen magazine which will be released on July 16.

 

The manga written and illustrated by Miki Yoshikawa and began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2012. It has inspired a live-action drama in 2013.

The story follows Yamada, the high school's worst problem child, who bumps into the beautiful honor student Shiraishi on the stairs, and their lips touch as they fall. When they regain their wits, they realize that they have swapped bodies. As time progresses, the two realize that this is not the only mysterious happening in the school…
