Strobe Edge Manga to Get Live-Action Movie

According to the August issue of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine, Io Sakisaka's Strobe Edge manga is getting a live-action movie adaptation. The anime adaptation of Sakisaka’s another manga Ao Haru Ride is running in this summer with 12 episodes. It also inspires a live-action movie this December.

Strobe Edge is a Shōjo Romance Manga written and illustrated by Io Sakisaka. It began serialization in 2007 in Bessatsu Margaret magazine and ended in 2010. The story follows Ninako Kinoshita, a 15-year-old girl, who has never been in love until an encounter on the train with her school's most popular boy, Ren Ichinose. As she grows closer to Ren, she falls in love with him, but must learn to cope with the unfortunate fact that Ren already has a longtime girlfriend…
