Shokugeki no Soma Manga to Get Anime Adaptation in 2015

This year's November issue of Shueisha's Comics News magazine announced that Yuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki's cooking manga Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma) is getting an anime adaptation in 2015.

The manga is written by Yuto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. It was launched n Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in November 2012, and the 9th volume of the manga has been released in Japan this September.

The story follows Soma, who wants to become a full time chef in his father's restaurant and surpass his father’s culinary skills. After Soma graduates from his middle school, his father enrolls him in an elite culinary school, where only one out of ten students can graduate…
