King Records released a promotional video for the anime adaptation of Sano Nami's Sakamoto desu ga? manga recently. The anime's official website also updated the additional cast, staff information and a new visual. The anime will air on the TBS channel on April 8.

Hikaru Midorikawa will star as the titular Sakamoto.

 

Shinji Takamatsu is the anime director at Studio DEEN. Atsuko Nakajima is the anime characters designer and Masatoshi Muto is the art director. Yasuhiko Fukuda is in charge of the music.

 

Rock band Customi-Z will perform the opening theme song "Coolest," and SuneoHair will perform the ending theme song "Nakushita Hibi ni Sayonara" (Goodbye to Lost Days).

 

 

Sakamoto desu ga? story follows a high school student named Sakamoto, who has a reputation for being the "coolest" person among the entire student body. Despite the strange situations he may be in, Sakamoto always manages to fix the problem in absolute perfection while still being over the top.

 

Sano launched the series in 2011 and ended its serialization on December 14, 2015.
