The movie Fairy Tail: Priestess of the Phoenix will premiere on August 18, 2012. Some details have been released since the announcement of the movie. This time, the official site has exposed more detailed information on the movie, including the story, characters and the second trailer.

 

Story:

Fairy Tail is a Mage Guild that solves various requests, with "Magic and Fighting Spirit" as their daily life. One day, a highly priced request flew in with "I want Geese, the head of a bandit group that's hanging out in a certain harbor town, to be apprehended" inscribed. Natsu and his crew, who were looking forward to the big reward, set out to solve it in high spirits.... However, because of a mistake Lucy made, Geese escaped right in front of their eyes. With the request failed, Lucy, who was depressed by herself.... met a mysterious girl named Éclair and a strange bird named Momon on her way home. Éclair somehow lost her memory, and the only thing she remembered was that she must deliver the "Phoenix Stone" in her possession to somewhere. Who is Éclair, why does she hate magic, and what kind of secrets are hidden in the Phoenix Stone... with this meeting as the start, this time, a brand new enemy, and a sinister plot will confront Fairy Tail!

Éclair

A dancing priestess of the “Inhabitants of The Fire”.

She’s a mysterious pretty fortune teller who keeps travelling around. With a stoic face as if she has forgotten how to smile, she hates wizards and magic. What has happened to her?

 

 

Momon

The only friend of Éclair.

A bird staying with Éclair closely, he/she (still unknown) is very talkative as if he/she is also talking on behalf of the silent Éclair.
