Code Geass Gets 10th Anniversary Celebrations on November 27

Lelouch and The Empire of Britannia were introduced to audiences for 10 years till this October. A special 10th anniversary celebration "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Anniversary of a Miracle" will be held at the Maihama Amphitheatre in Chiba on November 27. This event is the first in a series of 10th anniversary celebrations. The staff behind the series also found a special 10th anniversary official site.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion first ran in Japan in 2006 followed by the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 television anime in 2008. It inspired several spin-off manga, the Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland original video anime, and most recently the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled original video anime.

The U.S. premiere of the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled will be screened at the Otakon convention in Maryland on Sunday, August 14 at 10:15 a.m. EDT. Director Kazuki Akane and producer Yoshitaka Kawaguchi will attend the screening and will hold a Q&A session.
