Berserk Manga to Resume as Monthly Series

This year’s 14th issue of Hakusensha’s Young Animal mangazine is announcing that Kentarou Miura’s Berserk manga will resume as a monthly series in the 15th issue of the magazine on July 24.

Berserk began serialization in Hakusensha’s Jets Comics collection in 1990, and made transition to Yong Animal in 1992. Miura took a break to create a six-chapter Gigantomakhia mini-series in 2013, and then continues Berserk on Young Animal on April 11, 2014. But it went on hiatus again in June, returned again in August, and went on hiatus again in September 2014.

Berserk manga has been released 37 volumes so far. The manga inspired a film trilogy and a 25 episodes anime series.
