The 53rd 2015 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that the second season of the Ansatsu Kyoushitsu TV anime will air on January 7, 2016 on Fuji TV, Kansai TV and other channels.

The previous staff of anime will return for the second season. Seiji Kishi is in charge of directing anime at the studio Lerche. Kazuaki Morita is the characters designer with Makoto Uezu as the scripts writer.

The first season of the Ansatsu Kyoushitsu anime, based on Yusei Matsui's manga, aired in Japan on January 9. The first live-action film adaptation was in theatre in Japan on March 21, and the second film will premier in spring 2016.
